Support groups at Phoebe are regularly scheduled gatherings
that seek to help those in need. All of our support
groups are open to the public at no charge.
The combination of education and emotional support
should enable attendees to feel better at the end of
the meeting. Groups remind their members that they are
not alone, give them a chance to say what they are feeling
in a supportive environment, learn new strategies and
resources and foster support networks. Each group has
its own character and each meeting is different.
Our Family Caregiver
Support Groups at Phoebe Richland and Phoebe Berks
are facilitated by persons trained by the Alzheimer's
Association. These groups focus exclusively on the challenges
and concerns of caregivers of persons with Alzheimer's
disease or a related disorder.
