Phoebe Ministries is committed to helping residents stay in touch with loved ones and participate in campus activities and hobbies. To support that mission, we use a variety of technologies and approaches to strengthen resident's connection to loved ones and interests.
Phoebe TV
Campus activities are broadcast directly to each resident's television set and to monitors located throughout the campus. The same information is broadcast on our website so family members can participate in the lives of their loved one.

In addition to broadcasting activities, this program offers free-use Internet lounges, adaptive devices, coaches and classes designed to teach elders many ways the Internet can enrich lives. Both the Allentown and the Berks campuses currently offer programs.
Phoebe Telephone System
Phoebe Ministries operates its own telephone service, which links most of the Phoebe communities, including the Allentown, Wernersville , Richlandtown and
Wyncote campuses. This enables users to call within these areas and any number local to them without incurring long distance charges.
Residents of most of our communities can use the Phoebe Telephone System as their local telephone provider and benefit from the wide local service area. For example, a resident of Phoebe Berks Village can call a friend in Allentown without incurring a long distance toll charge.
Telephone feature options available for subscribers of the Phoebe Telephone Service include:
- Voice Mail Service
- Call Waiting
- Call Forwarding
- Caller ID
- Second Telephone Line (commonly used for fax or
modem/internet connection)

High Speed Internet
Phoebe offers high speed internet connections from each Phoebe Berks Village Apartment at a low monthly rate. Other independent living residents enjoy high speed service from the local carrier. Simply place your request for internet services with the Phoebe Berks marketing representative and the service will be ready for you when you move into your apartment. Current residents of Phoebe Berks Village Apartments may contact the Administration Office to sign up.
