Volunteering
Volunteers contribute significantly to the exceptional quality of life of Phoebe residents. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, span all ages, and share a willingness to use their diverse skills and experiences to help and support others. Volunteer opportunities exist at all Phoebe communities. The volunteer coordinators are happy to customize an activity to fit your talents and time schedule.
Typical volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- Companion/visitor
- Escort/transport residents
- Activity helper
- Library assistant (some sites)
- Pastoral care assistant
- Activity or group leader
- Present a program (musical, special interest or hobby)
- Distribute water
- Deliver mail
- Receptionist (some sites)
- Office helper
- Tour guide
