The media has been alerting us that economic conditions are presenting many challenges for all of us here in the United States and around the world. For not-for-profit healthcare institutions like Phoebe, the reality of reduced government reimbursements for care is adding another level of negative financial impact. These downward trends in government reimbursement are not expected to improve anytime soon.
Along with declining government funding, Phoebe is experiencing an increasing need for Charitable Care. Phoebe is now providing over $8.2 Million for our residents who have exhausted their own resources to pay for their own care.
Phoebe remains totally committed to our residents and never asks anyone who is no longer able to pay for their care to leave. Nor do we compromise the quality of care that they deserve! In this day and age, it is truly extraordinary and a clear demonstration of Phoebe’s unique legacy of care and compassion. But your support is critical.
Charitable giving continues to be an essential part of the formula that keeps Phoebe on course and true to its mission. Our organization continues to be at the forefront of innovation, and remains focused on how we can deliver quality care in cost efficient ways. Phoebe is always in need of loving, caring individuals to volunteer at all of our communities. Whether 20 hours a week, or one event, your help is crucial to the success of our programs, events, and services. We are always looking for guest speakers, activities, and companionship for our residents and their families.
