Since our earliest days as a Deaconess training school, Phoebe has been a teaching and learning institution. Today, staff training goes well beyond regulatory requirements and includes advanced training, tuition reimbursement and scholarships to employees to further their education.

Our effort to educate others through the Phoebe Institute on Aging's programs, serves to improve the quality of care available at Phoebe and in the surrounding community.

Each year, we offer field experiences and internships to dozens of students attending area colleges and universities. In addition, Phoebe offers programs for the older adult, family caregivers, and other professionals serving the aging population in our broader community.
